Contact
We are a small editorial operation, not a customer-service line. The contact paths below are the ones we read.
What to contact us about
- Corrections. If you spot a factual error, an outdated source, or a stale link, please tell us. Corrections are the most useful feedback you can send and we publish them visibly.
- Source suggestions. If you know a primary source we should be using and are not, please send it.
- Editorial questions. What we cover, why we cover it, what we will not cover, and how we decide.
- Accessibility issues with this site.
What we are not the right address for
- Gambling support. If you need help with problem gambling, please contact the National Gambling Helpline (Ireland) on 1800 936 725 — free, confidential, around the clock. We are not a counselling service. See Responsible Gambling for the full list of Irish support services.
- Operator complaints. If you have a complaint about a specific gambling operator, the GRAI handles regulated-operator complaints; the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission handles unfair-commercial-practice complaints. We cannot intercede with operators.
- Legal advice. We do not provide legal advice, in writing or otherwise. If your question is about whether something is legal in Ireland, a solicitor practising gambling law is the right place to ask. We can point you to one general directory — the Law Society of Ireland’s Find a Solicitor service — but we do not recommend specific firms.
How to reach us
- Email: contact@irishgamblingrules.com
- Editorial point of contact: K. Rowan (publishing pseudonym)
Email goes through a public-address mailbox (operated via Cloudflare Email Routing) and is forwarded to the editorial team — incoming messages are read by a real person, not auto-replied to.
No public postal address. Irish Gambling Rules is a small independent editorial project operating under a publishing brand (not a registered company), and we currently do not publish a postal correspondence address. Email is the way to reach us. If you specifically need to send something on paper — for example, a formal legal notice — please email first and we will arrange a route.
Response expectations
- Corrections: typically reviewed within 7 days; published or rejected within 14.
- Source suggestions: reviewed within 14 days.
- Other editorial questions: best-effort.
- We do not always reply to general feedback, but we read it.
Press and research enquiries
Researchers, journalists, or policy organisations writing about Irish gambling regulation are welcome to contact us for editorial context. We are happy to discuss what we do and do not publish and why. We do not provide quotes attributed to undisclosed people.
